PROGRAM OBJECTIVE

To prepare and train students for employment as Patient Care Technicians.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

This program is designed to prepare students for employment as advanced cross
trained nursing assistants, Patient Care Assistants and Home Health Aides. This program offers a broad
foundation of knowledge and skills, expanding the traditional role of the nursing assistant, for both acute and
long-term care settings.

PRE-REQUISITE

Must pass the Level 2 criminal background check.

TIME TO COMPLETE PROGRAM

Full-time day students will complete this program in 30 weeks. Part-time evening students will be completed in 45 weeks.
